SFE26 Fire Warden

Duration: ½ Day

Course Objectives:

This half day course aims to provide delegates with an understanding of fire safety in relation to their role as fire marshal/fire warden. This course will also give theoretical training on how to select and correctly use fire extinguishers and fire blankets. All employers are required to carry out an assessment of the risk of fire in their workplace. As part of their fire plan, an employer may appoint fire marshals, otherwise known as fire wardens, to carry out certain tasks. This could include routine inspections such as ensuring fire exits are kept clear and that firefighting appliances are in the right place etc.
